Women in Corporate-Gender Parity & Way Forward

A. Dhanam

Abstract:

Women are at par with men as far as skills and ability are concerned, and no wonder they have emerged successfully in various sectors. However, the growth and success of women is directly dependent on the decisioning theory by women to identify the most lucrative job to meet their ability and work-life integration. Furthermore, the work place challenges are foreseen as mere illusions that enable us to rise higher to unleash the hidden potential if taken positively or it can be a speed breaker to slow one down considering they are too risky. Choice is in our hands and we need to make the right decision. This chapter presents the authors success ingredients in her journey to lead a team as delivery manager in a sector dominated by men.
