Analysis on Double Disk Grinding Carry Plate Gearbox

Abstract:

The worm gear in carry plate gear box gets worn out within 2025 hours to 3000 hours of work time. We have design and analysed a standard gear box for reason for failure. The suggested gear box have undergone many constrains like heat dissipation, torque applied, shock load, strain, yield strength and elasticity. By considering all constrains, newly designed carry plate gearbox life has increased its life time from 2025hrs to 21000hrs..
